Windows
This section originally recorded the size of the window panes, so we could reglaze the old windows with some spare polycarbonate. Instead, we have had the windows replaced with some lovely double-glazed units.
For reference, the approximate frame sizes are 69x69cm for the small windows, and 69x210cm for the large ones.
There are 4 large windows and 12 small ones. Of the small ones, two open (one each side of the building, at the back).
Pane size (ie, the glass you can see through, not the size of the sealed unit), for privacy film or similar:
- Small openable window: 474 x 474 mm
- Small, non-openable window: 568 x 568 mm
- Large window: nnn x 568 mm
The glass is double-glazed laminated security glass.
Cistern room ceiling
Distance between rearmost joist at front and frontmost joist at rear: ~280cm (~9'2")
New loft hatch
80cm deep, 180cm wide. Size will be reduced ~40mm in each dimension by casing (depending on thickness of casing wood).
