details given to Tennyson:

  • turn over: £4000
  • activities: members making/working on projects using soldering irons, hand tools, power tools and computer controlled equipment like laser cutters, in a group context with training provided. We meet weekly.
  • age group of members:16-65. (they said having members under 18 will mean we need some extra paperwork)
  • assets requiring cover: current assets not worth anything, ultimately may need £10k contents.
  • building cover: not required
  • existing insurance: nothing/covered by members own insurance.
  • cover required: public liability, possibly contents, asked them to suggest what types of insurance we might need.
